Designed by Robert Grimsdell in 1955 on Driefontein Farm, this woodland-style layout (6330m from yellow tees, slope 136) features hilly terrain, water hazards, cynodon greens with pronounced summer nap, and wildlife like blesbok, impala, springbok, and blue cranes roaming freely.

Rich History and Legacy

Born from Goldfields mining heritage, the original clubhouse served as a historic stopover for travelers from Kimberley to Johannesburg gold fields.

Twice rated in SA's top 20 by Compleat Golfer, it has hosted legends like Bobby Locke, Tony Johnstone, and others. Recently revitalized after challenges, it's now privately owned and thriving as a tranquil oasis.
